Moving a website requires coordinated file, database, email and DNS changes. FiberServer provides migration assistance for eligible hosting plans and helps customers complete essential post-migration checks.
Before migration
Prepare current panel access, recent backups, PHP requirements, database details and a list of email accounts.
Testing before DNS changes
Files, database connections, forms and scheduled jobs should be tested on the destination before traffic is redirected.
SSL and email checks
After DNS points to the new hosting account, validate HTTPS redirects, mixed content, MX, SPF and DKIM settings.
Keep the old account temporarily
Do not cancel the previous service until DNS propagation is complete and website, email and backups have been verified.
